The role:
This person will be committed to delivering excellence and value to stakeholders through innovation, partnership, and sound financial management and advice. As such, we are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our busy finance team.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for producing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for our Construction Equipment, Power Product (generators) and Consumables (oil and filtration) divisions.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven person to provide financial planning, reporting, analysis and guidance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering for real work scenarios.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting of monthly financials and providing insight against budget and forecasts
  • Ensure management and financial reporting is accurate and delivered on a timely basis to our Finance team and Sales departments
  • Monitoring of Equipment, Power Product, Consumables and attachment inventory including stock count activities
  • Monitoring the performance of the Rental Fleet portfolio
  • Prepare financial information such as reports and audits in accordance with TDX policies and accounting standards/law
  • Process mapping all tasks involved at month end and ensure any relevant Standard Operating Procedures are updated as required
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, reporting monthly for review with senior managers and relevant stakeholders
  • Manage sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as Auditors, Sales and Rentals team

We are ideally looking for someone with:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting
  • CA ANZ qualified
  • Minimum experience 5 years as qualified accountant in a commercial environment
  • Advanced level of spreadsheet skills
  • Experience with a commercial accounting system
  • Ability to interpret, extract and analyse financial information – able to present to a range of people
  • Highly resilient with proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to build constructive relationships
  • Enjoys working in a down-to-earth environment
