About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager – Sales & Marketing, as the National Sales Manager for our Equipment Division (Volvo CE, Yanmar CE, and Fuchs), you will lead and inspire a team of Regional Territory Managers while driving national sales strategy and performance.

This high-impact role requires a strong balance of strategy and hands-on sales expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training, mentoring, and leadership of staff
  • Nurturing the relationships with our OEMs and other partners
  • Driving the sales team against sales disciplines
  • Ensure CRM maintenance and full utilization
  • Inspiring team members to provide the highest level of sales acumen
  • Further building a high-performance sales culture
  • Ensuring all sales enquiries are managed promptly and efficiently
  • Provide support with industry events
  • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to support overall product knowledge
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain for sales forecasts, machine orders and logistics of machine arrivals
  • Regular travel requirements

About you
We are seeking a dynamic, proven, and results-driven Sales Manager. Experience in the capital equipment industry would be advantageous, but more so your capacity and ability to lead and inspire our sales team as we continue to expand and enhance our market position.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven progressive sales experience with a competitive, flexible and resilient nature to drive success
  • Expertise in converting technical requirements into profitable outcomes
  • Experience with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM, understanding the importance that this function can deliver
  • A self-driven approach to align sales strategy with customer needs to achieve results, with strong organisation and time management skills
  • Experience in the New Zealand market
