TDX is returning to Mystery Creek with a huge line-up of machinery, power generation products and exclusive Fieldays deals

Formerly known as TransDiesel, TDX is proudly 100% New Zealand-owned and operated and represents some of the world’s leading equipment brands including Volvo Construction Equipment, Yanmar Construction Equipment, FUCHS Material Handlers, Rehlko/Kohler Power Generators and TX Generators.
For the TDX team, Fieldays is more than simply a machinery showcase. It’s an opportunity to connect with customers from all over the country and demonstrate the latest technology designed to improve productivity, efficiency and reliability across rural and construction operations.
TDX General Manager of Sales and Marketing Joe Gradwell says the event continues to be a highlight for the business every year.
“Fieldays gives us the chance to catch up with customers face-to-face, showcase the latest equipment and talk through the challenges people are facing in the field,” says Gradwell. “We’re bringing a great team from across New Zealand along with a strong range of machinery and power solutions that are perfectly suited to rural applications.”
Visitors will find TDX at site D21, where the team will showcase a broad range of Yanmar compact excavators, Volvo construction equipment, power generation products and the latest additions to the TDX line-up.
Adding extra value for customers attending the four-day event, every machinery purchase made onsite during Fieldays will receive a free Polar X Canvas Puffer Bush Buck Jacket valued at $499.99.
Future operators will also be well catered for, with the popular Volvo Little Diggers sandpit returning to the stand. Packed with toy Volvo excavators, loaders and dump trucks, the interactive area is always a hit with younger Fieldays visitors. Safety remains front of mind for TDX, with every little operator receiving a free TDX high-visibility vest to help keep them safe around the event.
Yanmar compact excavators ready for action

TDX will again present one of New Zealand’s most comprehensive compact excavator displays, with eight Yanmar models ranging from the 1.7-tonne ViO17 through to the powerful 10-tonne SV100.
Leading the lineup is the Yanmar ViO17-1, widely regarded as New Zealand’s most popular compact excavator.
Known for its exceptional reliability, true zero tail swing design and ease of transport, the ViO17-1 is perfectly suited to farmers, landscapers and contractors working in tight-access areas where manoeuvrability and efficiency are critical.
The Yanmar ViO20-6 combines compact dimensions with exceptional operator comfort. Its smooth hydraulics, fuel-efficient engine and advanced stability make it a versatile machine for drainage, trenching and general property maintenance.
The ViO25-6 has earned a strong reputation as one of the biggest towable excavators available on the market. Offering impressive digging depth, lifting capability and versatility while remaining easily transportable, it continues to be a favourite for operators wanting maximum performance without the need for heavy transport requirements.
The ViO35-7 represents the latest new-generation Yanmar excavator, delivering enhanced operator comfort, improved fuel efficiency and advanced hydraulic performance. Designed with productivity and ease of operation in mind, it continues Yanmar’s reputation for innovation and reliability.
Stepping up in size, the ViO55-6 is widely recognised as New Zealand’s 5.5-tonne excavator of choice thanks to its exceptional smoothness, powerful lifting capability and impressive digging performance. It remains a standout option for operators requiring a machine that delivers both precision and serious productivity.
The larger ViO80 and SV86-7 excavators provide exceptional lifting power and productivity while maintaining Yanmar’s renowned compact tail swing design, helping operators work confidently in restricted areas without sacrificing performance.
Completing the excavator line-up is the SV100, a powerful 10-tonne machine designed for operators requiring maximum productivity, lifting capability and fuel efficiency in a compact package.
TDX will also display the recently launched Yanmar TL100VS Compact Track Loader. Yanmar sales manager Richard Papps says the new model is perfectly suited to rural customers requiring versatility and year-round performance.
“The TL100VS is built to handle demanding conditions with excellent traction, powerful lifting performance and impressive operator comfort,” he says. “Whether it’s feed handling, site preparation or moving materials around the farm, it’s a machine designed to maximise productivity,” says Richard.
Also on display will be the rugged Yanmar C30R-3 tracked carrier. Built for conditions where utes and conventional dump trucks struggle, the C30R-3 provides exceptional traction, low ground pressure and reliable material transport across challenging terrain.
Volvo construction equipment has the solutions

For customers wanting larger equipment solutions, TDX will showcase a range of Volvo Construction Equipment machines, including the Volvo L90H Ag Loader and Volvo ECR145FL Excavator.
The Volvo L90H Ag Loader is purpose-built for agricultural applications, delivering excellent fuel efficiency, fast cycle times and superior operator comfort. Its powerful lifting capability and smooth hydraulic performance help make it ideal for silage handling, feed operations and general farm duties.
The Volvo ECR145FL Excavator combines compact swing performance with exceptional digging power, advanced fuel efficiency and operator-focused technology, making it highly effective on both rural and civil construction projects.
Volvo product manager Andrew Falloon says Fieldays is the perfect opportunity for customers to experience the latest Volvo innovations firsthand.
“Volvo Construction Equipment continues to push the boundaries around efficiency, operator comfort and sustainability,” says Falloon. “Fieldays allows customers to see how these machines can deliver real productivity gains while reducing operating costs and environmental impact.”
TDX will also showcase the future of machinery with Volvo’s growing electric equipment range.
The Volvo Electric L25 Compact Loader offers zero-emission operation, low noise levels and impressive lifting performance, making it ideal for indoor work, livestock environments and urban applications.
The Volvo Electric ECR18 Compact Excavator delivers the same premium performance operators expect from Volvo, while significantly reducing noise and emissions for environmentally sensitive worksites.
Also on display will be the Volvo Electric L120 Loader, a powerful 20-tonne electric wheel loader that demonstrates Volvo’s commitment to sustainable heavy equipment solutions without compromising productivity.
Power generation and material handling solutions

The newest addition to the TDX portfolio, the FUCHS MHL320 material handler, will also feature at Fieldays. Designed for high-efficiency material handling applications, the MHL320 offers outstanding visibility, fast operating cycles and fuel-efficient performance, making it ideal for recycling, forestry and bulk material operations.
Rounding out the display will be TDX’s extensive power generation range, which continues to grow in popularity with rural customers looking for reliable backup power solutions.
Mecc Alte PTO generators provide dependable, tractor-powered emergency electricity solutions that are simple to operate and ideal for farms during unexpected outages.
TX Generators offer robust, reliable portable and standby power solutions designed to keep homes, farms and businesses running when reliability matters most.
Rehlko/Kohler Generators continue to set the benchmark for premium backup power, delivering automatic operation, dependable performance and peace of mind during power disruptions.
