Supply Chain Administrator - Fixed Term Contract

Provide support to our Supply Chain team tracking imports, costings, admin and accounts data entry.

The role:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for providing support to the Supply Chain team to ensure your internal customers are kept informed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the monitoring of the Supply Chain shared email boxes.
  • Keeping records and staff up to date with shipment quoting and final costings.
  • Tracking of shipments into New Zealand.
  • Review inbound status reports from all freight forwarders daily for reporting purposes.
  • Processing supplier's invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Regularly report on any price variance.
  • General administration support as required.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Someone with experience in the imports or exports industry would be beneficial, but not a necessity.
  • Previous account, admin or data entry experience of at least 2 years.
  • Proven ability to record data accurately.
  • Enjoy keeping people around you informed and provide a sense of care for your customers.
  • Be based in Christchurch with full working rights.
