The role:
This new National Sales Manager position reports into our General Manager – Linde Material Handling. While delivering on sales targets and objectives is an obvious measure of this role, our people are critical therefore this role will have a big focus on developing and coaching our Sales Team to be future leaders in our business, while providing the highest level of delivery to our valued customers while working in collaboration with Linde Material Handling Australia.

We are seeking a National Sales Manager who thrives on strategic thinking, excels in quantifying pipelines, and has a proven track record of success in presenting to blue chip clients. You will ideally have a background in managing and developing a team of people across multiple locations, with a particular strength in new business development and national key accounts. Fast on your feet, with high levels of pace and energy, you will quickly navigate the demands of our valued customers while working closely with our Territory Manager and take trans tasman account responsibility.

We are ideally looking for:
  • A person who is able to provide demonstrated evidence of sales growth and expansion in a previous role with material handling experience or equipment sales is preferred, but candidates with a strong background in Supply Chain Solutions and Logistics will also be considered.
  • Extensive experience in sales management, preferably at a national level.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and leveraging data to optimise sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to quantify and analyse sales pipelines effectively.
  • Proven experience in preparing RFP’s and tenders, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable and confident in presenting to high profile blue-chip clients.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking skills with the ability to drive innovative sales initiatives
  • A strong communicator, coupled with a collaborative approach, you will know the value of others ideas and insights to formulate your plans and areas of focus.
