About the job opportunity

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you'll provide a mix of technical support and systems administration, resolving complex issues while contributing to infrastructure improvements and IT projects. Working across the wider technology environment, you'll help support users, enhance systems and processes, and play a key role in building a more proactive and modern IT function. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support across hardware, software, network, and business applications

  • Manage and prioritise help desk tickets, ensuring excellent customer service and SLA compliance

  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and licensing

  • Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, user permissions, and organisational structures

  • Administer Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, device compliance, and endpoint management

  • Provision, configure, deploy, and decommission devices across the organisation

  • Support cybersecurity initiatives by monitoring alerts, remediating issues, and maintaining endpoint protection

  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles

  • Assist with infrastructure projects and technology improvement initiatives

You will ideally have:

  • 3+ years' experience in Systems Administration or advanced IT support

  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Entra ID

  • Experience managing devices using Intune and Autopilot

  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments

  • PowerShell scripting capability

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned processes

  • Strong documentation and organisational skills
