Finance Assistant – 6 month Contract

Report to the CFO and provide assistance to our Finance Team for Audit preparations in our busy Kiwi owned NZ wide organisation.

We are committed to delivering a world-class experience with local know-how. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our finance team and contribute to our audit compliance efforts in this Fixed Term role.

The role:
As a Finance Assistant specialising in audit compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of our organisation. This fixed term position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination for external audits.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide/gain necessary documentation and information.
  • Ensure compliance to auditing standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for easy retrieval during audits.
  • Monitor/review financial transactions to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Work closely with the finance team to resolve any issues promptly.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Previous experience in finance or audit compliance roles is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with a CRM would be beneficial.

We are looking for an ASAP start, flexible to your needs, remuneration based on experience.
