Location: Christchurch



  • Import large quantities of spare parts from various offshore locations

  • Provide our mechanics with the spare parts they need to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Support our NZ wide locations

The role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Purchaser, requiring over 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role. You will be based in the head office, providing support to 16 branches across NZ, reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain.

This role will suit someone who has been in a similar role within a business that has large volumes of inventory and stock procurement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inventory, stock replenishment, demand and indent requests
  • Process purchase orders with our valued suppliers
  • Ensure the most efficient shipping method at the best price is secured
  • Provide price, availability and ETAs to staff
  • Regularly report on purchasing activities and price variances
  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate stock required to ensure that sufficient levels are maintained

We are ideally looking for:

  • Someone that can work cooperatively in a team and independently
  • You will be a self-starter and display commercial acumen
  • Demonstrate knowledge of DMS/ERP/Inventory forecasting systems
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Have exceptional, accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
